We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at our North American headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
The Financial Analyst will provide critical financial support primarily in the area of operations. The emphasis will be on gathering data from multiple sources and creating analysis and reports that will enable the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) teams to make effective and efficient business decisions and process improvements. In addition, the Analyst will provide back-up support for the plant accountant and plant controller positions when vacancies exist as well as provide training for new hires. This position will also work with cost controller, to develop deep knowledge and understanding of our standard cost system to assist with standard cost development and manufacturing variance analysis. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Finance, the Analyst will work with management and cross functionally with members from all departments across the organization.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Extensive data mining and analysis from various systems and sources to support the basis for various models and analysis
Assist with analysis of monthly forecasts and annual budgets to identify errors and opportunities for improvement
Provide plant finance support when plant controller or accountant vacancies exist
Develop and deliver training for plant accountants and controllers with emphasis on new hires
Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Serve as back-up to cost controller assisting with standard cost development and manufacturing variance analysis
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
Financial analysis and subsequent recommendations implemented by the business will have an impact on profitability in the region.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, management or business
2-7 years of relevant experience that includes plant experience
Excellent Excel and complex financial modeling skills
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Superior problem solving and high degree of energy
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
SAP experience preferred
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the director manufacturing finance
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
20% - 40% travel required
