Accounts Payable Representative

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join our team at our North American headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
The position provides direct support for processing the day-to-day vendor invoices based on departmental procedures. Works closely with purchasing and plant personnel to resolve vendor invoice issues.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
(All other duties as assigned)
Responsible for processing vendor invoices
Accountable for clearing matching exceptions
Key contact for several manufacturing plants within NA
Assist Purchasing department and plant personnel on resolving vendor invoice issues
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
Transaction based, extremely repetitive in nature, expected to interact with business units across all levels of management.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High School Diploma with a minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable experience.
Associates Degree is preferred with some accounting experience.
Previous experience using Excel is required.
Knowledge of Shared Service Operations and SAP are preferred.
Results focused with a solid process mindset
Creative problem solving skills with emphasis of thinking outside the box
Adaptable and enjoys challenges
Organize, prioritize and execute multi-task duties & projects
Adept with identification areas of process improvement
Team player though also works well independently
Attentive to details
Solid use of verbal and written communication skills
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
