We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team at our World Headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
Position Description
This position is responsible for assisting the Financial Reporting & U.S. GAAP Compliance function in ensuring global compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. A key task of this position is assisting with the preparation of the Companys 10-Q and 10-K filings with the SEC. A significant portion of the work will be on a project basis (e.g., as new U.S. GAAP pronouncements are issued or as transactions or other accounting issues arise) and will be raised by others in the Company both at the Business Unit level around the world and other Corporate functions. A smaller portion of the work will be on a routine basis and much of the work in these areas will be done in conjunction with others in the Corporate Controller department. The individual in this position will view his or her colleagues as customers and will strive to serve their needs by providing high-quality, timely responses to their questions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Apply corporate accounting policies and U.S. GAAP guidance to transactions and issues as they arise.
Liaise with external auditors in regards to application of corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP, and related SOX controls.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements as required.
Assist in the development and implementation of new corporate accounting policies.
Assist in executing the monthly stock based compensation procedures.
Assist in the preparation of the Companys 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings.
Assist in coordinating the annual external audit.
Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate audit of benefit plans.
Coordinate SOX CSA process for the Corporate function.
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
Decisions on matters requiring significant judgment and/or adjustments to the books in potentially material amounts will not be made by the individual in this position. The individual will need to exercise sound judgment to determine which matters to raise to higher levels of the organization.
The position will require interaction with external auditors in such a way as to ensure the work of the auditors is minimized. This means that an individual filling this position will need to be able to document his or her work in such a way that it can be easily reviewed and audited by others. It also means that the individual will need to effectively manage the related external audit effort.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting
3-5 years of accounting/auditing experience
CPA certification preferred
Public accounting (preferably Big 4) experience a plus
Good oral and written communication skills
Results focus
Strong organization skills

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Manager of Financial reporting and has no direct reports.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical and work environment is characteristic of those found in a typical office environment. Minimal travel (0 5%) and overtime may be required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
