We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Performance Manager-Jr. to join our team at our World Headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
POSITION
Summary:
The Manufacturing Performance Manager will be responsible to develop, review, study, analyze and understand key global manufacturing performance trends and initiatives from a strong technical perspective to relate them with ongoing efforts and initiatives in our manufacturing and quality operations.
The key outcome of this position is to provide the Technology Leadership Team with a clear unbiased perspective of key reasons behind overall performance trends as well as provide additional insights on systemic impacts and long term considerations of some approaches in our manufacturing operations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Partner with corporate business analytics and performance management teams to develop key reports, both recurring and ad hoc, and to provide deep analysis of manufacturing performance trends.
Lead team of regional and corporate experts to develop down time report
Clearly understand global initiatives based on constant and active interaction with the regional manufacturing and quality teams in order to identify potential replication opportunities.
Evaluate the effort / reward equation linked to key Corporate Manufacturing & Engineering (CME) initiatives related to manufacturing performance improvement.
Leading interface with our global metric systems for the Technology team, helping update key performance indicators definition and tracking and making sure that relevant data is entered into the system in a consistent way to provide the opportunity to benchmark and analyze trends.
Identify opportunities for improvement based on analysis of information across multiple systems like global metrics, quality, safety and cost identify trends and improvement opportunities to raise awareness to our operations to timely react and adapt the operational strategy if required.
Provide manufacturing expertise to the Technology team as we develop business cases for our multiple projects within our portfolio challenge what is feasible and help identify true potential of some initiatives and projects.
Cross train and back up quality data manager
SCOPE AND IMPACT
The Manufacturing Performance Manager will ensure that key performance metrics are understood and discussed in order to raise awareness around the effectiveness of our manufacturing improvement initiatives.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Minimum 5 years proven success in glass container manufacturing leadership positions.
Bachelors degree
Master in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Quality and or manufacturing experience
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Director Global Quality
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Approximately 30% as our operations are distributed globally-constant exposure to business and operations.
