We are currently seeking a Global Mobility and Immigration Specialist Glass to join our Corporate Compensation team at our world headquarters in Perrysburg, Ohio.
POSITION
Summary:
Under the direction of the Global Mobility Manager, the Global Mobility and Immigration Specialist will administer relocation and immigration programs in U.S. and Canada, as well as assist with other global mobility responsibilities such as initiating services with outside providers, processing invoices, tracking international assignments, and updating/managing process documentation.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Under general direction from the Global Mobility Manager, manage the domestic relocation program for the U.S and Canada, complete the initiation process for authorizing services for new transferees, review and respond to requests for exceptions to policies, work closely with third party relocation service provider to ensure smooth relocation processes, ensure taxable values are provided to payroll as appropriate, etc.
Assist the Global Mobility Manager with the administration of immigration programs for the U.S. and Canada and serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding immigration issues. Maintain Public Access Files. Assist with coordination of immigration applications and visas, the U.S. and Canada permanent residency sponsorship process, travel/visa stamping renewals, case strategy and status, preparation of global visa application sponsorship letters, as well as other tasks needed to support immigration programs. Stay abreast of foreign national employees job changes (locations, duties, terminations) to ensure nonimmigrant work status is in compliance. Manage and track visa initiation and renewal process for employees in coordination with outside law firm(s).
Assist with expatriate benefit administration.
Partner with hiring and recruiting departments to facilitate on boarding process for expatriate employees in the US and Canada.
Review and analyze invoices (immigration services, tax services, relocation, etc.) and process for payment.
Assist with international assignment/transfer cost projections and data analysis for relocation.
Identify areas for process improvements and execute
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
BS/BA degree preferred and 1-3 years of global mobility, immigration, and/or relocation experience.
Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of a professional organization and handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.
Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action.
Ability to work independently and require little instruction on the day-to-day work.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications, including strong Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Global Mobility Manager.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position will travel 5% or less.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
