We are currently seeking an Intermediate Technical Specialist Windows Client Platform to join our Corporate IT team at our world headquarters in Perrysburg, Ohio.
POSITION
Summary:
This position is responsible for 2nd level desktop support, maintenance, and performance of O-Is global deployment of end user computing environment. The goal of this position is to provide quality solutions and support by utilizing best practices, procedures, and processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
(All other duties as assigned)
- Provides 2nd level desktop support for O-I Global client operating systems, software and hardware.
- This position will participate in the GSD On-Call rotating roster
- Coordination day to day operational support activities in relation to PC hardware, software, and other services related to printing solutions.
- Participate, as part of a global team, in activities relating to PC software and hardware deployments
- Build and develop cross functional relationships with other global IT operational support groups, both locally and globally
- Maintain awareness and commitment to employment and legislative responsibilities in relation to workplace safety, discrimination, HR policies, quality and the environment
- Work on project teams, and manage minor enhancement activities, in relation to IT and business projects, as assigned by GSD management.
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
This position, under the guidance of the Global Service Desk (GSD) Management staff, provides support, implementation, and maintenance of the end user platform and standard operating environment (SOE).
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience in information technology or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years Microsoft Windows client experience in a desktop support role is required.
- ITIL Foundations Certification is required.
- A
Certification or equivalent is required.
- Microsoft certifications, with a minimum of MCITP (DST).
- Working knowledge of PC Client management solutions, such as MS SCCM
- Demonstrated experience with client virtualization technologies is highly desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
