We are currently seeking an Administrative Industrial Engineer to join our team at our world headquarters in Perrysburg, Ohio.
POSITION
Summary:
This position has administrative responsibility for regional/plant Capital and Expense plans, 901E and project portfolios and SAP RIM / RPC processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Administers Capital and Expense planning, forecasting, reporting and budgeting for assigned plants on a monthly, quarterly and year over year basis
Supports the development, review and implementation of scope, schedule and cost components of Major and Minor Cap/Ex projects for assigned plants
Administers 901E system by reviewing all incoming, authoring new as required, approving, tracking, cancelling and closing multiple plant site 901E funding requests
Performs required duties as SAP Regional Investment Manager (RIM) and Regional Project Coordinator (RPC) for all Capital and Expense projects for assigned plants
Participates in regional and global technical review process for major and minor projects as required by regional engineering/management functions and global CME processes
Works closely with Regional Finance and manufacturing Key Stakeholders to promote projects that enable the region to deliver on strategies
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
This job is responsible for the administration and management of NA Manufacturings Capital and Expense plans (annually in excess of $100MM total), as well as the link between this plan and assigned manufacturing plants. Each Administrative Engineer is assigned between 7 and 12 plants, and works closely with Plant Engineers, Plant Controllers, Regional Finance Managers and others to assure efficient and effective use of the NA Capital and Expense allocations.
Additionally, monthly and quarterly business process closing, reporting and forecasting duties for both NA Regional and OI Corporate management require significant time and knowledge of accounting as well as quarter and year-end requirements.
Also, the position requires the administration of the 901E system, including reading/writing/reviewing every submission (400
per year total for NA Region) and heavy involvement in SAP (project systems & investment management modules) for their assigned plants. This is part of the RPC &RIM duties within SAP.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors Degree required, Engineering/Finance/Account/Business required
Minimum of 5 years work experience in manufacturing/operations, engineering or finance required
Project engineering experience, preferred
Project Management experience, preferred
Project construction experience, preferred
Project accounting experience, preferred
Must be authorized to work in the country in which you are applying for a position. O-I will not fund or manage the process of obtaining any required work authorization.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This job reports to the Manager, Project Management Office within NA Engineering.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel up to 10% in North America.
