Payor Relations/ Revenue Cycle Manager

Ohioans Home Healthcare is seeking a Payor Relations/Revenue Cycle Manager in our Perrysburg, OH, office.
The responsibilities include identifying patient reimbursement issues, ensuring that claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed, and resolving billing-related issues.
You should also be able to code diagnoses and procedures correctly.
The Payor Relations/Revenue Cycle Manager develops the payor network creating a stable referral and payment source while focusing on strategic financial outcomes and growth.
This position evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with Ohioans Home Healthcare contract requirements, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls.
This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan and direct the department as well as someone who seeks ways to improve the functionality of the revenue cycle and payor departments.
Job Functions:
Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes, as well as efficiently manage patient complaints.
Supervise the revenue cycle and payor departments in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of the EHR and billing systems.
Responsible for reviewing existing and new contracts and completing Contract Summaries in a timely and thorough manner.
Managing staff payroll as well as staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.

We are looking for candidates with:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
At least two (2) years' experience in health care management preferably in home care operations.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct personnel.
Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards required.
Demonstrated autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
