John XXIII Catholic Community in Perrysburg, Ohio, a thriving, growing parish of 1700 families, is in search of a full-time parish Director of Worship (Music & Liturgy) for the unique opportunity to lead contemporary worship in a Catholic parish.
This position is responsible for facilitating the worship life of the parish by coordinating and providing a quality liturgical experience which celebrates and strengthens the membership journey of faith through the music ministry.
Major duties include weekend Masses, funerals and weddings, and other occasional parish liturgies, as well as coordinating liturgical ministers and environment and the audio/visual system in the church.
The ideal candidate must be skilled in both vocals and keyboard.
Candidate must be able to read, interpret and play primarily contemporary praise & worship music, but also traditional hymns.
Candidate will need to direct, recruit, teach and implement various instrumental and vocal ensembles of all ages.
Candidate must have familiarity and appreciation of Catholic liturgy and a heart for worship.
A bachelor's degree in music is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
