We are currently seeking a Global Brand Advertising Senior Manager to join our Global Communications team at our world headquarters in Perrysburg, Ohio.
POSITION
Summary:
The Global Brand Advertising Senior Manager develops and executes brand marketing communications campaigns, projects and tools to build O-Is brands focusing on customers and consumers. Serving as a brand steward for Glass Is Life ensuring external communications are aligned strategically with Global Commercial and Brand Communications and using corporate brand identity standards. This position builds and executes realistic plans and drives global priorities through brand marketing communications and campaigns to prospective customers, trade, consumers, the media, corporate management, employees, special interest groups, and internal regional & global stakeholders.
This position is responsible for activities related to implementing brand and product innovation strategy achieving marketing & communications targets. Specific responsibilities include brand communications quality and consistency, building relationships to influence and get alignment of regional marketing and communications teams, support key launches, communications strategy development, agency and vendor management, leveraging digital and social marketing opportunities and conversations, fostering open communication and collaboration, serving as a brand steward aligning with the commercial goals and the Global Brand Marketing team to achieve the goals.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Build the Brand:
Manage, develop and produce brand advertising and communications ensuring that all executions and brand touch points have impact, quality and consistency, in-line with desired O-I brand guidelines and positioning. Engages leadership and stakeholders for collaboration, feedback, review and approvals.
Build support with regional brand marketing and communications, corporate communications, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the O-I brands are properly represented in all communications. Makes sound decisions to align internal and external, country and regional communications.
Partner to develop and protect the O-I brands acting as liaison with other departments to grow and maintain a strong voice for O-I messaging, advertising, and social marketing, building continuity for the O-I brand voice, look and feel.
Manage the development of customer presentation tools and effective storytelling for O-I portfolio of brands. Make the story simple and compelling for O-I sales force and customers.
Builds, protects and leverages O-Is brand, trademarks, and copyrights across geographical regions.
Provide a point of view as a member of the Global Communications team. Act as a resource to the Global Brand Marketing and Commercial Leaders to build the brand knowledge and competency in the company.
Agency Management:
Maintain and manage external resources and partners to align to O-Is brand advertising strategies and business objectives across all mediums.
Establish trust and maintain day to day effective relationships with all agencies, external partners and vendors associated with brand and marketing communications, fostering open communication, promoting collaboration across agencies and motivating the teams. Focus on getting great work from all partners.
Align with Procurement department on negotiation of agreements, contracts, and Statement of Work for marketing communications agencies, vendors and suppliers.
Serve as a resource to the Regional and Global Leaders to assist in building effective agency relationships globally and developing the team and network.
Creative and Production:
Manage creative development and production of customer and consumer facing campaigns and materials, particular focus on Glass Is Life. Campaign scope could include videos, film, print, digital, social media, direct marketing, events, internal communications, PR and sponsorships.
Develop strong creative briefs to focus and inspire agencies, drive creative development from strategy and ideation through execution, listen and drive feedback loop and approvals between internal clients, agency team and corporate O-I partners.
Adapt, listen and learn demonstrating courage to ensure client feedback is clear and motivating for best results.
Develop, execute and update sales tools and presentations, collateral, brochures, etc with input from commercial team, Global Communications, O-I Executives, customers, and Regional Communications as needed.
Partner with Regional Brand and Communications teams to execute strategies around global brand and product launches. Display global awareness to support the O-I brand(s) and regional marketing objectives.
Social Marketing, Media Planning and Events:
Oversee the development and execute online and social marketing strategies building glass advocacy and community online. In collaboration and partnership with agencies leverage search, Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and other new media opportunistically.
Focus on building results awareness and internal competency, elevating results and showcase efforts for Commercial team and broader company building understanding and visibility.
Assist regional counterparts with briefing agencies with clear targets, timing and budget priorities, reviewing media plans for mix and target reach, including reviewing creative placements.
Ensures that brand advertising and communication strategies leverage scale as part of an integrated solution, exploit all media forms as appropriate, consider countries, regional and global aspects.
Discover and leverage new opportunities in the e environment strategically and tactically to support growth strategy.
Research & Vision:
Key member of the commercial team leading change in O-I. Developing, influencing and promoting messaging that positions O-I brands and glass in a positive and relevant light considering audience and situations.
Think creatively and provide point of view to enhance research activities for planning, execution and results of marketing and brand communications campaigns.
Constantly explore, recommend, use and optimize communications methods, vehicles and technologies to engage with various audiences.
SCOPE AND IMPACT:
Manages an annual budget of $4MM 10MM
Interfaces with Executive leadership and Regional Leaders at various levels
External representative of O-I through social media, customer presentations and public relations
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors Degree Marketing, Communications, Business and 8-10 years practical experience with a demonstrated track record of developing brands. (Consumer and/or B2B brand building).
Experience in communications, advertising, digital and social media or agency experience
Proven experience developing branded products and categories.
Proven ability to execute brand marketing communications across geographies, cultures and languages.
Demonstrated ability to affect a company's brand image and recognition.
Broad functional experience in areas of brand communications, social marketing, campaign development, execution and messaging, social marketing, promotions, electronic communications public relations.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with a diverse range of individuals
Strong collaboration skills experience and expertise in building collaborative relationships throughout the organization. Ability to influence and be successful in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multicultural environment.
Confidentiality: must be able to handle and safeguard sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills, capable of effective communications with a diverse range of individuals
Clear communication both written & oral, multiple languages preferred
Demonstrated presentation skills
Project Management skills
Proficient and skilled developer of content in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
